    Senior Structural Engineer/Client Manager - Ports and Rivers Group (Remote/Hybrid)

    we're hiring a Sr Engineer for our Port and River Group.

    Structural Engineering at VAA (Port and River Group) VAA's Port and River Group is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a qualified, technically strong structural engineer with a passion for (or interested in) large maritime infrastructure projects.

    Perform high quality engineering services on waterfront infrastructure for VAA's Port and River clients. Manage team of direct reports including engineers and designers in VAA's Port and River Group. Be a technical resource for the company as well as early career engineers. Be the point of contact to clients and work alongside a team of engineers and designers across multiple disciplines. Lead the preparation of proposals, design documents and project deliverables. Perform site observations/evaluations (potential for up to 25% travel to construction sites).


    Your resume should include:
    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis. Professional Engineer license. 8+ years' experience in structural engineering including seismic experience. Marine experiencepreferred. Proven ability to manage clients, projects, and staff.
