These coal-fired power plants also play a crucial role in the success of the energy transition.

As renewable energy sources continue to develop, the need for controllable energy sources remains essential for Germany's transformation to a largely emission-free energy production, at least in the coming years.

In addition, STEAG Power operates a large power plant in Turkey. Despite the long-term goal of phasing out coal-fired power generation, STEAG remains committed to this strategy.

STEAG Power GmbH, located in Essen, is currently seeking a qualified IT Systems Specialist for the Information Technologies department, specifically in the Infrastructure Services team.

This individual will play a key role in managing client systems.
