    **Specialty Sales Representative- Gastroenterology**

    We are looking for a motivated and experienced Specialty Sales Representative with experience and relationships covering the New York, New York territories calling on **Gastroenterology** providers.

    In order to expand the availability of accessible healthcare for our patients by reaching providers to share the value and impact of Medlys services. This is a role for a demonstrated, seasoned sales professional to use their talent to have a positive impact in the daily lives of patients. This is a highly visible position, reporting directly to the Sales Manager, responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals for their area.

    **COMPETENCIES**

    **Sales Execution:** Drive sales growth and exceed assigned quota in assigned territory by acquiring new customers, and expanding sales with existing accounts. Implement marketing and sales strategies as directed by leadership.

    **Territory Planning:** Plan and organize daily sales call activities to optimize the use of time and maximize the achievement of sales objectives across assigned sales territory. Routinely use sales tools such as Salesforce CRM to effectively manage and plan weekly sales activities. Regularly view reports to align sales opportunities with strategic objectives to drive growth in assigned accounts.

    **Relationships:** Build and develop excellent relationships in your territory. Plan, coordinate and execute local customer programs and events to drive sales, build brand loyalty and optimized use of Medlys services.

    **Clinical Knowledge:** Demonstrate a strong clinical understanding of all aspects of provider specialty area and of Medlys value to them. Promote Medly via face-to-face and virtual interactions with targeted customers, engaging them in interactive, in-depth discussions about Medlys service offerings.

    **Communication:** Effectively communicate to customers the value proposition of Medly, and demonstrate persuasive selling skills aligned to customers needs. Ensure clear, concise and accurate communication with all internal and external stakeholders. Maintain timely communication with direct level Management and other members of the sales leadership team.

    **Influence:** Establish strong relationships with customer stakeholders, senior management, and other critical stakeholders to ensure successful launch and delivery of Medly services within new and existing accounts.

    **Compliance & Tracking:** Ensure all required documentation, reports etc. are timely and accurate. Demonstrate excellent use of Salesforce (CRM) to organize daily tasks.

    **Resilience:** Demonstrate persistence to accomplish objectives despite disappointments and/or rejection of original efforts.

    **Solution Orientated:** Recognize changes in the work environment, to develop and implement alternate plans to achieve objectives.

    **QUALIFICATIONS**

    2+ years of outside medical/pharmaceutical sales experience required

    2+ years of experience within specialty

    Excellent selling/persuasive/presentation skills

    Strong customer focus, demonstrated teamwork/collaboration

    Computer proficiency

    Working knowledge of pharmacy industry
