    Job Title: Technical Product Manager


    Company: Raft


    Raft is a non-traditional company based in Reston, VA, with a strong focus on Distributed Data Systems, Platforms at Scale, and Complex Application Development. They work with federal and public agencies to create innovative digital solutions that impact millions of people's lives.



    About the role:

    Raft is looking for a Technical Product Manager with a deep understanding of data management and a passion for driving innovation. This person will need to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and user stories, and possess strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.



    Requirements:
    • 5+ years of hands-on product development experience
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of computer science and software development lifecycles
    • Product road mapping skills
    • Cloud services and GitOps experience
    • Jira experience
    • Experience in technical approach


    Preferred skills:
    • Data management background
    • Experience with data technologies and tools
    • Working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
    • Knowledge of agile methodologies
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills


    Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret security clearance

    Work Type: Hybrid (San Antonio, TX)
    May require up to 10% travel
