Description
The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Executive Director of INH PRO.The objective of this position is to engage warm leads into converting customers, bring new customers to INH PRO, and strengthen existing relationships with all accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize knowledge of INH PRO products, policies, and procedures to successfully and accurately conduct sales transactions with existing and prospective professional customer accountsUse all sales and marketing resources available to accelerate professional stylists through a defined sales cycleProactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing professional customer accounts.
Convert professional inbound and outbound calls/video chats into sales and add-on opportunities (e.g., upselling, selling a full line of products.)Meet and/or exceed defined sales quota, quarterly objectives, and annual goals.
Achieve new account quotas through lead development.Maintain service levels by contacting all accounts monthly via DM, email, or callsSocial media:
on occasion, be on camera for the INH Pro social media pages as we regularly showcase team members to our stylist communityThis role would help out and assist on Pro customer support- troubleshooting with stylists, FAQ, returns, refunds, and IG DM CX respondingOn an average week the expectation would be, 2 days in the field for salon visits and cold calls to salon owners and stylists and 3 days in the office at West Hollywood HQ for INH Pro support in various areas of inside sales, pro customer service, and order fulfillment as needed.
Assist Head of sales and Education with in salon education programming - from time to time, will be on site supporting education in person classes and be the sales liaison at these classesThis is a startup and while the goal is that the above matches the defined job description, INH Pro is a scrappy team and all team members wear a lot of hats and so there will be times that tasks fall out of the JD.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum three years of in-salon sales experience (department store or ulta/sephora sales are not included) preferably with professional stylistsMust have an existing book of business or relationships with hair salons, salon owners, and stylistsKnowledge of professional hair extensions is preferred but not required.
Must reside in Los Angeles- as 3 days in office are required weekly for supportKnowledgeable and competent in the key elements of inside sales, including:Proven ability to sell and get resultsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCustomer qualification, acquisition, and business development utilizing effective sales techniquesExcellent planning, time management, and organization skillsAbility to translate solutions back to internal and external customer(s) as well as managementInterface effectively with all levels in the organization and excel in a team-oriented environmentAble to efficiently manage core job responsibilities and assigned projects while meeting established deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, GOOGLE OFFICE and with customer relationship management databasesProven ability to work with confidential and proprietary information and dataExperience with HubSpot and/or Shopify a plusOutstanding telephone, video call and interpersonal skillsExemplary oral and written communication skillsValid Driver's licenseCosmetology license always a plus but not a requirementTravel 30% as needed or requested for hair shows or salon visits- rare out of state or overnight travelCOMPENSATION
