- Writing production level Python and Snowflake SQL for ETL pipelines
- Writing and integrating data unit tests as part of the data pipelines' development and deployment
- Using AWS services and technologies for application deployments to data APIs
- Experience creating an automated ETL process using Python, Snowflake, and SQL
- Experience with data processing, validation, cleaning, and debugging data sets
- Experience with building a production grade ETL pipelines
- A demonstrable and deep understanding of healthcare /healthcare claims data
- Experience with AWS frameworks (i.e. S3, DynamoDB, Batch, Step Functions)
- Experience with processing large data sets (over 1GB)
- Experience with Shell scripting
- Ability to work 40 hours/week for at least 6+ months
- An established private work area that ensures information privacy
- A stable high-speed internet connection for telephonic remote work

The Role:
This position offers a fast-paced environment with a strong team of diverse engineers that are central in building Arine's data platform. You will have the opportunity to have a direct impact on the infrastructure and delivery of our core enterprise data offerings by having ownership over end-to-end data pipelines.
The Data Engineer will be responsible for various data pipelines, data ingesting, and integration platforms. This role will work in close collaboration with technical stakeholders to optimize processes to ingest large enterprise healthcare datasets and build novel healthcare data pipelines. This position will support, maintain, and develop software using a variety of different tools including Snowflake, Python, Pandas, Pyspark, SQL, and the AWS stack.

The posted range represents the expected hourly rate for this position and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits, and perks. Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as your experience, job level, location, and other relevant job-related criteria. The hourly pay rate for this position is: $60-70/hour.
