    Description

    As part of our dynamic Data Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in aiding company-wide, data-informed decision making. Product and Business teams leverage our data assets to optimize user adoption, growth, and experience. We partner with other Data Infrastructure teams to build a self-service analytics platform for the company.

    This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner.     What you'll achieve

    • Design, implement and scale end-to-end data products that support growing data processing and analytical needs
    • Transform raw data into actionable insights, propelling our product strategy, and powering in-depth analysis and reporting
    • Join forces with data scientists, domain experts, and engineering teams to build a roadmap in line with our business objectives
    • Embrace broad ownership to expand your skills and influence in shaping the company's data strategy
    • Implement systems that guarantee data accuracy and availability

    About you

    • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering
    • Experience in data modeling and building scalable data pipelines involving complex transformations
    • Proficient in data processing and storage technologies like AWS/S3/HDFS, Databricks, Redshift, Python/Scala, SQL, Spark, Airflow
    • Proactive and innovative in identifying and addressing bottlenecks in existing workflows
    • Motivated to work closely with cross-functional partners to evolve our analytical data model

    Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

    For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $171,000 - $209,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

    In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
