    Description

    Solution Architect

    Must Have

    Experienced in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) processes

    Strong experience Microservices and Cloud platforms like Azure

    Seeking a Solution Architect to work with the current FTE Solution Architect to support with work overload. The Solution Architect will work in PLM systems for regulatory compliance and safety needs and Supply chain systems for Quality.

    The initial contract is for six (6) months with the potential to extend based on performance and business needs. The person MUST be local to Long Island City and willing to work in the LIC Office 2-3 days per week. There may be some weeks where you are fully remote.

    Required Skills

    Solution architecture experience - 8 to 12 years and hands on in PLM

    Understanding, analyzing, and suggesting new areas of opportunity which will benefit the application landscape.

    solid understanding of the business processes, system landscape and industry best practices. Keeps abreast of the latest trends in process and technology pertaining to Regulatory compliance and Quality.

    Effectively captures business requirements and present as-is and proposed options with excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Knowledge and project implementation experience using these tools : Java 9, ReactJS, Springboot, Apollo Engine, Kubernetes, EFK, Prometheous, Kafka and Oracle/Hybernate
