    Summary:
    Client is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.

    Responsibilities:
    - Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by managing the month-end and year-end closing processes
    - Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
    - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
    - Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
    - Provide guidance and support to accounting staff, including training and development opportunities
    - Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and facilitate the annual external audit process

    Qualifications:
    - Strong accounting background (coding, bank reqs, journal entries, etc.)
    - Heavy AP/AR experience
    - Must possess strong written and oral communication skills as candidate will be client facing
    - BS degree in Accounting or related field
    - CPA highly desirable. Candidate must be CPA eligible
    - Experience using Paylocity is a huge plus
    - Bill-Me/Ramp experience strongly desired

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $60,000-$85,000 per year
