About Alina Spas:
Hi, I am a recent Temple University graduate with a BA in Psychology summa cum laude and James Dunham memorial prize recipient. I'm currently a Research Assistant at Social, Organisational and Political Psychology Lab at Lehigh University as well as at Control and Adaptive Behavior lab at Temple and a promotion coordinator for Philadelphia Life-Planning Network. I have more than two years of research experience as a Research Assistant at the Social and Affective Neuroscience lab and Control and Adaptive Behavior lab. I have experience of teaching Introduction to Research Methods in Psychology at the University level as a Diamond Peer Teacher. I presented the project “Do People Account for Intrinsic Motivational Factors Associated With Tasks When Predicting Their Ability to Perform On Said Task?” at the Undergraduate Symposium for Research and Creativity at Temple. I'm also a former Vice-President and Promotion Coordinator of Temple Psi Chi and a clinic intern at Tuttleman Counseling Services. Additionally, I wrote an article "Beautiful Madness: Florence Syndrome" for the undergraduate neuroscience journal Grey Matters.
