- Manage inventory control, logistics, and expediting to support team needs effectively.
- Handle requisitions, receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and other assets.
- Monitor and respond to parts and materials requests from technicians.
- Execute transactions in an ERP system and manage scrap and obsolete inventory.
- Assist in cycle count procedures and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and best practices.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve material shortages and ensure timely completion of production goals.
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices for materials management, including purchasing and distribution.
- Enforce safe material handling practices and adhere to safety regulations.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training.
- At least 2 years of experience in inventory control, material handling, or expediting.
- Proficient with MRP or ERP systems and inventory control applications.
- Strong teamwork skills and experience working in cross-functional settings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement concepts.
- Capable of lifting 50lbs unassisted and working in various environmental conditions.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, overtime, and weekends, and potentially travel.
- Must meet U.S. person requirements as defined by the U.S. government.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with planning, scheduling, and Kanban processes.
- Knowledge of welding consumables and tooling.
