Job Summary:


The Receiving/Order Pulling associate is responsible for receiving merchandise from UPS, FedEx, and other trucks and safely moving material within the warehouse by carrying.

The Receiving/Order Pulling Associate ensures jobs are staged and pulled prior to delivery. The Receiving/Order Pulling Associate is responsible for keeping the warehouse well organized
.

Responsibilities:


  • Help unload trucks in a safe manner
  • Receive and sort
  • Separate Special Orders from delivery and process according to store policy
  • Help maintain organization in the warehouse
  • Ensure all inbound merchandise is checked in per store procedures
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Always have a customerfirst mentality
  • Communicate with vendors when processing missing or damaged product
  • Process all damage claims according to store policy and maintain related paperwork.
  • Follow up on all damage claims and returns to the Retail Support Center in a timely manner.

Qualifications:


  • Willingness to gain a vast knowledge of consumable products
  • Experience in a retail environment preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time
  • Able to walk, reach, climb ladders, and bend to perform job duties
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate and relate well to others.
  • Ability to solve problems, work independently, and check accuracy.
