    GFO Home is a home builder in Central and North Texas with communities in and around the Austin and Dallas areas.     We're looking for a talented Senior HR Generalist to join our team and play a key role in attracting top talent, ensuring a smooth hiring and onboarding process, and supporting our employees' overall experience through HR systems management.

    Responsibilities:

    Recruitment & Onboarding:

    • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to source, attract, and hire qualified candidates
    • Manage the entire recruitment process, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating offer letters
    • Onboard new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company and their role.
    • Develop and deliver new hire orientation programs

    Benefits & Payroll:

    • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
    • Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments and compliance with tax regulations
    • Maintain employee records in the HRIS system and within our physical filing system

    Special Projects:

    • Assist with HR projects as assigned, such as employee relations, performance management, or compliance initiatives
    • Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred)
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a generalist HR role
    • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and payroll
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
