- Diagnose and repair all systems on GMC/Chevrolet vehicles according to manufacturer standards
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Communicate effectively with customers and Service Advisors to explain vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify and address automotive problems
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing work
- Keep accurate and detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Attend training and development programs to stay current on industry advancements and updates
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification in GMC/Chevrolet vehicle repair
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified automotive technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have own tools
- Availability to work full-time hours, including some weekends if needed

McSweeney Chevrolet GMC/CDJR is seeking a highly skilled and certified GMC/Chevrolet Technician to join our team in Clanton, Alabama. This is a full-time, commission-only position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity for industry leading earnings potential.
As an GMC/Chevrolet Certified Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in all work performed.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $100, per year based on commission earned. In addition, you will have access to benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts.
