- Perform administrative duties to support Sales Manager's.
- Follow up on group inquiries from phone messages and emails.
- Process Group bookings including ticket ordering.
- Email group confirmations and communications to customers.
- Help coordinate on site catering and special events.
- Interface with clients and various park departments.
- Participate in weekly catering meeting and marketing meetings.
- Perform various pre-event tasks including creating BEO, banquet check, ticket orders, FedEx, and post-event tasks including event recaps and final billing
- Maintain weekly group arrival list and payment methods.
- Participate in industry events, park familiarization tours, and key Special Events projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Enthusiastically represent the organization by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- At least two years of education/related work experience required.
- Must have excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to establish and create relationships at all levels with clients and prospect organizations.
- Detailed oriented and skilled at multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment
- Must have the ability to self-start and work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must possess excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Travel industry sales, marketing, and hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience in Sales Force a plus.
- Able to work any weekday between Monday - Friday to include some weekend and some late evenings as needed.
