Location: - Communicate with clinical staff to determine status of pending discharges, transfers and bed availability and plans bed assignments accordingly.
- Review all admissions and transfers for clinical/unit appropriateness and medical necessity.
- Take appropriate action in the event criteria are not met or appropriate resources are not available.
- Provide direction and support to admissions coordinators to ensure efficient patient access and flow.
- Analyze bed management data, identify issues and potential resolutions and prepare reports for executive review.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire dateor job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board ofNursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtainedprior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.
