    Brief Overview of Position

    Our team of healthcare-focused bankers has extensive experience spanning a wide variety of healthcare sectors and delivers this invaluable industry expertise to help our clients operate efficiently and effectively. We address the uniqueness of the space by providing credit structures and banking solutions tailored to the variety of subsectors within the industry. Our goal is to deliver comprehensive financial support by enabling healthcare entities to thrive and deliver quality services. In addition to covering the entire U.S. by going coast to coast to maintain and build new strategic client relationships, we serve as subject matter experts across the bank by identifying and managing risk for the organization.

    This relationship-driven role will partner across the bank and be accountable for helping to grow and build out the healthcare vertical. This role will focus on for-profit, non-real estate, cash flow opportunities. You will work closely with our investment banking team on capital markets transactions, and therefore will need to be FINRA Series 79, 63 and SIE licensed.

    Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate client coverage through a disciplined calling effort, understand the client's strategic and financial objectives and work in conjunction with product partners to identify and execute on appropriate opportunities to deepen the bank's relationship
  • Develop a strategic client acquisition pipeline based upon identified parameters to deepen and expand the portfolio and the bank's presence in the healthcare sector
  • Collaborate and connect with product and other functional partners to ensure appropriate client and prospect coverage and deliver banking solutions to deepen existing relationships and accelerate new client acquisition
  • Focus on targets and deadlines; possess a natural disposition to be focused on achieving production goals and calling metrics
  • Keep abreast of the latest healthcare industry, financial and banking product knowledge, financial markets and relevant regulations
  • Protect the bank by proactively identifying and managing risk in all business activities; constructively elevate issues early and often
  • Assist in the recruitment and development of junior talent
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field/experience
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Healthcare Corporate Banking
  • Understands fundamental analytical and credit skills with formal training from a bank, credit fund or nationally recognized credit training program
  • Solid understanding of the broader capital markets as well as bank products and services
  • Must have excellent intrapersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written, with ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management, internal committees and clients
  • Must be proficient with organizational skills, ability to identify and solve problems/issues and be able to manage multiple workstreams
  • Results-oriented with demonstrated business origination/sales experience, well-developed business connections and a strong track record of delivering against goals
  • Effective team player who wants to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and build working relationships across the organization
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office products (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • FINRA Series 79, 63 and SIE licenses required, or will need to be secured within 120 days of employment
