- Conduct outreach to agency collaborators and partnering organizations, with a special focus on those providing support services to domestic and intimate partner violence survivors.
- Seek out, schedule, plan, and host community training and education sessions on domestic and dating violence issues, as well as our organization's services and programs.
- Continuously improve and expand training materials, curriculum, and learning guides through evaluation, offering recommendations for improvements and incorporating new technology and education delivery tools.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop training materials and presentation schedules for staff, identifying appropriate speakers and presenters while exploring cross-training opportunities.
- Represent the organization at community networking and outreach events.
- Assist with volunteer orientation, ensuring adherence to the organization's mission and philosophy.
- Manage administrative tasks, scheduling, and correspondence for all outreach appointments.
- Collaborate with the Director of Development to plan and implement public domestic violence awareness events, including the Allies in Action virtual speaker series and October Take a Stand community event.
- Utilize the Empower database to enter and track data on outreach activities, compiling statistical and descriptive information for reporting needs.
- Attend staff trainings, meetings, and committee meetings as requested.
- Abide by the organization's bylaws and personnel policies, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Minimum associate degree in a related field. Candidates with non-traditional pathways and relevant life experience will be considered.
- Experience and comfort in training or teaching, public speaking, and public relations within a nonprofit setting.
- Proficiency in organizing and facilitating technical features of Zoom meetings, along with familiarity with Google Documents, Microsoft Office Suite, and relational databases.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive mindset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to professionally represent the organization's DV Services, Inc.
- Reliable personal transportation, a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
- Successful completion of a Cori background check.
- Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus.
