    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the company's COO/VP of Operations, the Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of restaurant operations, for both new and existing entities. This position will lead the operating restaurants' management team, and ensure that all properties achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, communication and awareness, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, and sanitation. This role will work to ensure standard operating procedures, best people practices and compliance, and that service standards are consistently met at all properties.

    • Basic Qualifications
      • 7-10years' experience in a fine dining high volume restaurant, with at least 5years in a leadership role
      • Hospitality degree preferred
      • Knowledge of safety and hygiene protocols
      • Working knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
      • Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
      • Have the stamina to work in excess of 40 hours per week

    Travel:
    There will be extensive travel required to perform the essential job functions. Travel
    requirements will be to the discretion of Mina Group. This includes travel to certain
    restaurants for extended periods of time, to assist with manager coverage during transitions
    as well as during restaurant openings. Strong preference is given to candidates based in San Francisco or Las Vegas but other locations will be considered.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement corporate operations standards and practices to maintain consistency and excellence within Restaurant Operations.
    • Oversee outlet leaders to ensure alignment with the restaurant brand, vision, and concept.
    • Train and develop leaders within operations according to MINA Group standards.
    • Collaborate with various internal departments (Finance, Human Resources, Learning & Development, PR/Marketing) for consistent messaging and communication.
    • Participate in weekly manager meetings, contributing to unit economics and performance evaluations.
    • Maintain profit and loss accountability for outlets, participate in budget planning and forecasting.
    • Ensure legal compliance with federal, regional, and local standards, conducting training on best practices.
    • Manage and mentor outlet leadership teams, fostering growth and leadership development.
    • Review financial performance indicators, labor costs, and sales strategies regularly.
    • Drive financial performance and train teams on financial acumen within operations.
    • Ensure adherence to training syllabus, HR policies, and department meetings.
    • Assist in the assessment of General Managers and management staff performance.
    • Collaborate with COO & Finance Department on budget creation and monitoring.
    • Oversee physical plant maintenance plans and restaurant cleaning standards.
    • Work with marketing agencies to execute sales/marketing initiatives effectively.
    • Manage relationships with hotel sales departments, event planners, and other partners.
    • Ensure guest database maintenance and service standards adherence.

    Salary for this role is $130,000-150,000
