    FINANCE MANAGER

    ORGANIZATION: Elite International Law Firm

    LOCATION: New York, NY (hybrid)

    BENEFITS: Base salary to $225K, commensurate with experience; Plus Generous Bonus. All Medical, Dental Vision Coverage; Generous Paid Time Off; 401K w/match; Transit.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Report to the Global Controller
    • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 accounting managers and 5-8 staff accountants
    • Develop and maintain relationships with the Firms leadership
    • Provide mentorship to the accounting team
    • Review department staff; recommend improvements depending on performance
    • Oversee and manage the annual audit of the firm financial statements and employee benefit plans
    • Develop and maintain a library of documents
    • Develop and oversee global best practices for the Firm
    • Prepare and review balance sheet account analyses and bank reconciliations
    • Review monthly reconciliations
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelors Degree and CPA required
    • 6+ years of related accounting or financial analysis experience in a professional services environment; law firm finance experience preferred
    • Managerial experience required
    • Excellent financial acumen and ability to communicate complicated topics effectively to senior management
    • Perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to clients and attorneys while producing a high quality work product
    • Able to multitask and prioritize
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
