    Description


    Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Commissioning Lead to join a leading engineering firm, specializing in providing innovative and cost-effective solutions for data center builders, cloud providers, and developers of large construction projects.

    They are looking for an individual to commission mission critical data center electrical equipment systems for a world class technology company.

    This commissioning role will oversee the commissioning process for power generation and distribution systems, uninterruptible power supplies, automatic transfer switches, PDU's and medium voltage switchgear.

    The candidate must have a working knowledge of electrical power systems or equivalent industry experience with strong communication skills.

    Experience with MS Office products

    • Topnotch organization in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Passion for leading in moments of ambiguity, particularly in the realm of construction and electrical operational problems.
    • Must thrive in a fastpaced environment, be motivated by deadlines, and possess the ability to multitask
    • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in electrical power distribution with a strong emphasis in data centers.
    • Bachelors of science in electrical engineering is preferred but will consider other engineering disciplines, 2 year degree, military training, or equivalent work experience.
    • Working knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards.
    • Experience conducting quality control of electrical construction documents.
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD. Bluebeam experience is a plus.
