Job Summary:
This individual will apply proven leadership, project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
The role of the Director of IT and Business Transformation is to collaborate with Departments and/or individual innovators to plan, design, develop, and lead the implementation of technology projects, process improvement, business analytics and interdepartmental communication through application integration in support of core organizational functions, business processes and overall Enterprise Strategic Objectives.
This role includes management of the IT department, assisting departments identifying KPIs as well as gathering and analyzing data to help drive business decisions and push innovation forward within the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategy & PlanningEvaluate existing staff capabilities against Departmental and Enterprise Strategic Objectives and a willingness to make changes when needed.
Manage all outside vendors including service agreements negotiations, vendor capabilities and a willingness to change or eliminate vendors when needed.
Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals.Identify and resolve systems issues.
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Identify, communicate and track annual strategic goals for department.Participate in company strategic planning.
Manage annual department budget and operational technology budget.
Communicate progress of initiatives to executive leadership teamOversee, develop and lead existing IT Team.
Acquisition & DeploymentLead Subject Matter Experts in creating Project Charters that includes link to business case, appropriately identify project requirements, risks, costs, and stakeholder engagement.
Collaborate in the planning, design, development, implementation and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications with subject matter experts, software vendors and developers.
Identify, negotiate, hire, and manage the appropriate outside resources required to complete tasks such as API development, server and network management, and helpdesk outsourcing.
Manage Technology software stack effectively to eliminate redundancy and ensure full use of application capabilities.Position Requirements:
Formal Education & CertificationCollege diploma or university degree.
Minimum of 10 years of experience leading organizational process improvement, system integration and overall strategic IT execution.
Knowledge & ExperienceProven Track Record and demonstrated ability to lead the IT function as a Trusted Business Advisor to the C-Suite.
Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to identify risks, meet deadlines, overcome project obstacles, and gather feedback from user community to drive project completion.
Excellent problem-solving skills are required.Must be able to quickly assess a situation, identify affected parties, and ask logical questions to work through issues to find and mitigate the root cause of an issue.
Experience in the Construction industry is highly desired.Must be able to prioritize projects and tasks.
Working knowledge of network and Microsoft operating systems.
Working knowledge of CSSM HTML, SQL, and Visual Basic is a plus.
Working knowledge of data integration and APIs is required. The ability to write APIs is a plus.

Travel to project sites as needed. Jobsites located in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.

Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year. Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, location where job is performed.
