- Foster relationships by effectively addressing client requirements, maximizing the use of Empower's products, and leveraging available service benefits.
- Schedule and conduct appointments to explore external asset opportunities, close deals on identified opportunities, and smoothly handle the transfer of external assets.
- Show comprehensive knowledge of goal-based planning by presenting solutions for various saving goals, such as education planning, retirement planning, and other long-term saving objectives.
- Utilize Empower's conversation model and interactive planning tools to identify client needs and take appropriate actions.
- Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks based on client needs and the potential for expanding relationships with Empower.
- Oversee the process (using SalesForce CRM) to document discussions, follow up with clients regarding account transfers, and effectively pursue opportunities that are yet to be closed.
- Collaborate with relationship management and advisory teams to prioritize appointments for consolidating external assets and seamlessly transition back to the relationship management team post asset closure.
- Achieve bi-monthly sales and conversation targets to earn incentive bonuses.
- Perform other assigned tasks, which may include attending meetings, product seminars/training, complying with federal and state regulations related to securities and insurance, in support of departmental and organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial industry with proven sales success.
- Outstanding listening, communication, and presentation skills.
- In-depth understanding of retail investment products and qualified retirement plans.
- Required FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66) certifications.
- FINRA fingerprinting is mandatory.
- Passion for assisting mass-affluent clients in structuring and achieving long-term saving goals.
- Self-motivated individual with a drive to excel in a fast-paced senior sales environment.
- Keenness to learn and implement new financial tools, software systems, and communication standards.

The Senior Wealth Advisor (also known as the Senior Financial Advisor - Investment Services - Workplace) at Empower collaborates with clients to create a roadmap to achieve financial goals and merge assets with Empower. With the necessary licenses, certifications, and cutting-edge financial tools, the Senior Financial Advisor gains deep insights into clients' needs and offers solutions to enhance their financial well-being.
In this position, your focus will be on providing tailored solutions to clients rather than managing a client portfolio. To excel, you'll need to engage in productive conversations with clients on the advantages of consolidating accounts to meet financial objectives efficiently and easily. Your success in the role will be measured by the successful consolidation of external accounts.

Base Salary Range:
$70, $92,500.00The salary range mentioned represents the typical minimum to maximum base salary for the listed position location. Non-sales roles may be eligible for bonuses, while sales positions can receive sales incentives and potentially bonuses based on individual performance. Actual compensation may vary depending on location, experience, education, licensing requirements, and skills, and will be finalized during the offer stage.
