- Building relationships by addressing customer needs effectively while maximizing the benefits of Empower's products and services.
- Scheduling appointments to explore opportunities for external assets, closing identified opportunities, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for external assets.
- Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of goal-based planning by presenting solutions for various savings goals such as education planning, retirement planning, and other long-term savings goals.
- Utilizing Empower's conversation model and interactive planning tools to identify customer needs and take appropriate actions.
- Effectively managing time and pipeline to prioritize tasks based on customer needs and the potential to expand the relationship with Empower.
- Overseeing the process (using SalesForce CRM) to document conversations, follow up with clients regarding the transfer of accounts, and efficiently follow up on unclosed opportunities.
- Collaborating with relationship management and advisory teams to prioritize appointments for consolidating external assets and seamlessly transitioning the process back to the relationship management team upon account closure.
- Achieving bi-monthly sales and conversation targets to receive incentive compensation.
- Other duties as assigned, including attending staff meetings, participating in product seminars/training, and ensuring compliance with federal and state securities and insurance regulations to support departmental and firm objectives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the financial industry with proven sales success.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of retail investment products and qualified retirement plans.
- Hold FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66) licenses.
- FINRA fingerprinting certification.
- A strong desire to assist mass-affluent clients in achieving long-term financial goals.
- Self-motivated individual with the determination to excel in a fast-paced, senior sales environment.
- Keenness to learn and implement new financial tools, software systems, and communication practices.
- A team-oriented and customer-centric mindset to uphold and enrich Empower's outstanding culture and values.

The Senior Wealth Advisor at Empower, also known as the Senior Financial Advisor - Investment Services - Workplace, collaborates with clients to create a plan to achieve financial goals and consolidate assets. By leveraging appropriate licenses, certifications, and cutting-edge financial tools, the Senior Financial Advisor gains a profound understanding of clients' needs and offers solutions to enhance their financial well-being.
In this position, your primary focus will be on delivering solutions to clients rather than managing a client portfolio. A successful Advisor excels in engaging customers in conversations about the benefits of consolidating accounts to achieve financial goals efficiently and effectively. Success in this role is gauged by the successful consolidation of external accounts.

Salary Information:
The base salary for this role typically ranges from $70,000 to $92,500. Non-sales positions may have additional bonus opportunities, while sales roles may be eligible for sales incentives and bonuses depending on performance, leading to total compensation exceeding the base salary. The final compensation offer will be based on various factors such as location, experience, education, licensure, and skill level.
