    Junior Tax Analyst

    Job Description


    JUNIOR TAX ANALYST

    One of our clients that specializes in commodities trading and investments is seeking a Junior level (minimum 1 year of exp.) Tax Analyst to their Global team in their NYC office.

    It is a Hybrid position and requires you to work in the office a few days a week. You must have at least 1 year of experience in accounting.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the analysis and calculation of required estimated tax estimates and year-end projections for partnership returns
    • Manage and coordinate tax audits as needed with domestic tax authorities
    • Preparing various IRS tax forms such as SS4s, W8s, W9s, 8832s and other FATCA forms
    • Work with internal and external accounting and operational professionals to obtain and collaborate on the information required in connection with tax returns/filings
    • Ensure tax payments are completed and processed in a timely manner
    • Assist with ad hoc projects and company-wide initiatives
    • Providing tax research and communicating findings as needed

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced and team-oriented environment
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Ability to communicate quickly in a clear and concise manner internally and with counterparts
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
