Job Overview:
Shriners Children's Philadelphia has an opportunity for a Patient Access Supervisor. The schedule is Monday - Friday, no weekends/holidays.
Responsibilities:
The Patient Access Supervisor will be responsible for analyzing and overseeing all Patient Access functions and will perform QA of all Patient Access functions on a consistent basis.
The Patient Access Supervisor will stay abreast of all State, Federal and Managed Care regulations as they pertain to Patient Access.
Qualifications:
Preferred
High School diploma or GED preferred
Associate's degree in related field preferred
At least 3 years of patient access experience in a pediatric hospital/clinic setting preferred
Previous supervisory/management experience preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
