    Description


    The ideal candidate will with project teams to create topnotch designs for new builds, alterations and renovations of various types of projects including commercial/retail, institutional, industrial, airports, government, military, and manufacturing facilities.

    Responsibilities
    Complete Design of Commercial HVAC Systems. Ability to generate energy compliance forms and load calculations.
    Attend client meetings and communicates with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development.
    Perform plumbing design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.
    Research and compile project-related data as required by the project managers.
    Compiles information for client presentations.
    Performs field inspections, measurements, or calculations for public and private clients.
    Review all shop drawings submittals and design alternatives.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
    Registered Professional Engineer (Preferred)
    Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in mechanical engineering design including using industry standard calculation software required
    Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills
    Demonstrated practical knowledge of codes and related industry standards
    Ability to travel for project-related activities
    The ability to produce construction documents in Revit
    LEED Certified (Preferred)
    Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
    Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

    Experience

    Mechanical Engineering: 7 years (Required)

    Revit: 1 year (Required)
