    Detroit, MI.
    $90,000 - $120,000 base.

    Are you a mechanical engineer who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team? Want to be part of a group who are striving for a unified success within the business? If you have experience in Materials Handling, and enjoys working with others, then read below


    The client I'm working with is working within a niche gap in the market which has allowed them to grow from strength to strength, working on the most complex and interesting projects in the materials handling industry.

    They have plans to grow to double their size in the next two years We are looking for engineers who have a passion for Mechanical Engineering engineering who want to grow and lead their own team.

    The Role
    As a Mechanical Engineer, you can expect the following roles;

    ø Creating designs for the mechanical aspects for completely custom materials handling projects.
    ø Completing calculations for structural and load capacities.
    ø Assisting with cradle-to-grave projects including design, manufacturing, commissioning and handoff.
    ø Working with Sales in helping to create and present proposals.

    Ideal Candidate
    To be considered for the Mechanical Engineer position, you should have the following skillset;

    ø 4+ years working within materials handling or distribution.
    ø Prior experience working with complete custom system design.
    ø 3+ years working with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
    ø In-depth knowledge of working with a variety of conveyance systems.
    ø Prior experience working with ASRS'.

    The Package
    The client I'm working with is offering a fantastic benefits package including;

    ø Base salary $90,000 to $120,000, along with a quarterly and annual bonus.
    ø 15 days PTO and standard company holidays.
