    Department OverviewThe IPVideo department designs, engineers, and develops IoT based products for the safety and security industry. The team has developed the HALO and SentryERS products and continues to develop additional products to the product portfolio. The department includes Cloud Development and Device Development teams.

    The Cloud Development team is responsible for all the web and mobile application development to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for our customers.

    Job Description IPVideo is looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Developers proficient in Android and iOS development, with a strong background in the .NET MAUI environment.

    As a Senior Mobile Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI framework and Android Studio.

    You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

    Scope of Responsibilities /

    Expectations Development:
    Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI framework, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability.


    Collaboration:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to define requirements, design features, and implement solutions that align with business objectives


    Testing & Quality Assurance:
    Write unit tests and perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the codebase.


    Optimization:
    Optimize application performance for various devices and screen sizes, focusing on improving user experience and responsiveness. Identify and address bottlenecks and performance issues.


    Troubleshooting & Debugging:
    Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or discovered during testing. Utilize debugging tools and techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.


    Continuous Improvement:
    Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile framework, .NET MAUI, and related fields. Proactively suggest improvements to development processes, tools, and methodologies.


    Communication:
    Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions. Collaborate with the team to resolve conflicts and make decisions that drive project success.

    Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

    5+ years of experience in mobile application development for Android and iOS platforms, with a strong portfolio highlighting your work.

    Experience writing cross-platform apps using .NET MAUI Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture. Experience with RESTful APIs, web services integration, and asynchronous programming. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for code management and collaboration. Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or anban is preferred. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues. Self-motivated with a passion for learning and continuous improvement. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices is a plus. Experience with mobile UI/UX design principles and responsive design techniques is beneficial.

    The base salary range for this position in New York is $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
