An Orange County, California based client is seeking an excellent Primary Care Physician to serve as the Chief Medical Officer for the largest Federally Qualified Health Center in Orange County.
An ideal candidate is experienced in providing community healthcare and values equitable care for all, regardless of any factor. The organization operates six community health centers in Orange County.Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
Current CA state medical license
5 years of experience as a Primary Care Physician in a clinic outpatient setting
Board certified in primary care (Family practice, internal medicine or pediatrics)
Bilingual in Spanish/English
Manages the care of patients in collaboration with other health professionals and members of the healthcare team in order to make decisions about treatment and attain health goals.
Ensures that the clinical care provided at clinics is maintained at the highest levels of excellence and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and best practices.
Provides high quality patient care at any SOS site to patients of various ages.Ensures all professional clinical staff are competent and qualified
Completes periodic performance reviews for direct reports and quality reviews
Responsible to ensure adherence to current evidence-based clinical guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice in the provision of health center services
Works to meet benchmarks and achieve productivity sufficient to maintain qualifications for federal and state funding and grant requirements.
Oversees clinical care delivered at all clinic locations, the behavioral health services and dental departmentRisk management, developing policies and procedures, meetings with senior management
