- Report directly to the Head of Engineering.
- Conduct one-on-ones with direct reports to discuss and align on goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation through coaching and mentoring team members.
- Lead code reviews to maintain high code quality and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Some hands-on coding may be required depending on the team size managed.
- You have at least 3 years of experience managing a team of software developers.
- You worked as a senior software engineer before being promoted to an engineering management role.
- You have proven web development experience and a strong understanding of system design, allowing you to make important technical decisions.
- Proficient in conducting thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- You have a history of identifying skill gaps and promoting professional growth.
- Deep understanding of modern web development technologies and frameworks and their best practices.
- Passionate about driving continual improvement within your Engineering teams, breaking down roadblocks, and driving process improvements.
- You've worked with Python and Django professionally.
- You are familiar with cloud technologies, like GCP or AWS.
- You are comfortable with programming in TypeScript or JavaScript and are familiar with modern frameworks.

The Base Salary range for this position is $181,000 - $237,000 annually. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position.
