The Description:


Business Development

  • Maintain contractual oversight of an acquisition and program management portfolio supporting Navy customers.
  • Oversee a diverse staff of acquisition, financial, program management, FMS, and engineering talent.
  • Work closely with customers and / or prime contractors to effectively staff and support customer mission objectives.
  • Develop and pursue a business growth strategy in NAVAIR and related markets.
  • Leverage existing and prospective AM Pierce talent in pursuit of other business development opportunities.
  • Lead NAVAIRspecific capture pursuits; Develop capture strategies and prepare for bid and proposal activities.
  • Support the development of technical strategies and proposal development.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to pursue traditional and nontraditional contracting options to support current and / or new customers.
  • Engage with current and potential industry partners to collaborate on growth opportunities.

Personnel Responsibilities

  • Staffing, onboarding, and supervising personnel
  • In coordination with HR, backfilling current positions and/or filling newly created positions.
  • May assist with new employee orientations / onboarding process.
  • Provides technical direction and communication to employees; provides subordinate feedback to Supervisors as appropriate.
  • Staff development / mentorship.

Education & Experience:


Senior leaders within AM Pierce & Associates will be proficient in communication, customer/client focus, leadership, problem solving, and technical capacity according to direct and execute program support.


Travel:


  • On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
