    Description

    Job Family: Finance & Accounting Consulting

    Travel Required: Up to 10%

    Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust

    What You Will Do:

    As a Consultant providing budget management services to our clients, you will be involved in various budget-related activities, such as assisting with budget requests, performance plans, appropriated balances monitoring, budget execution, and financial reporting.

    Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Coordination with government and contract personnel for budgeting and financial management processes
    • Drafting communications and strategic plans
    • Developing documentation and presentation materials
    • Communicating budget justifications
    • Utilizing data analysis for budget operations and reporting
    • Supporting ad hoc client requirements
    • Participating in client and team meetings
    • Developing solutions for process and policy challenges
    • Identifying data handling improvements
    • Supporting implementation of recommendations
    • Presenting deliverables to leadership
    • Adapting to changing client needs
    • Demonstrating learning agility

    What You Will Need:

    • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 1+ years of budget/financial management and change management experience
    • Knowledge of the Federal budget cycle
    • Professional services and business skills
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
    • Experience with executive-level Federal clients
    • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
    • Attention to detail
    • Technical mindset for client responsibilities

    What Would Be Nice To Have:

    • Experience with DHS financial and operational data
    • Previous involvement in the PPBE process
