The VP, Analytics - Emerging Biopharma (EBP) will lead a consultative team responsible for business development and delivery of insightful, value-added analytical projects and programs for Emerging Biopharma clients.

As a member of the EBP Leadership Team, the Vice President of Analytics will own the vision, strategy, blueprint, delivery, and operations for EBP clients in the US market.

This key leadership role will lead a newly formed organization with deep delivery, technical and commercial domain expertise responsible for achieving revenue targets and driving top-line growth in the EBP segment.


Role Responsibilities

Vision and Strategy

  • Identifies strategic areas of expansion for the commercial analytics business, steers methodology development & innovation.
  • Maintains a close alliance with business lines, Centers of Excellence, and the core sales organizations to ensure decisions are driven by the best interests of both the client and the company.
  • Contributes to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA in the marketplace, e.g., through speaking engagements, client meetings, publications etc.
  • Researches and identifies target markets.
  • Builds relationships with internal stakeholders, performs indepth presentations, strategic analyses, and execution of implemented plans for the business unit.
  • Partners with key IQVIA stakeholders and team members to develop competitive, differentiated, and relevant commercialization offerings that address prioritized opportunities and gaps.

Program Delivery

  • Frames and executes largescale transformation initiatives, from current state assessments through technical leadership, delivery, and deployment.
  • Leads team responsible for building trusted relationships with IQVIA's EBP clients, incorporating deep expertise in commercialization, analytic and launch to support the development, enablement, and execution of clients' commercialization strategies.
  • Leads the team to sell and successfully deliver analytical solutions utilizing the spectrum of IQVIA resources in the United States.
  • Builds trusted partner status with Csuite EBP client contacts via deep commercial content expertise, acting as a thought leader for clients and delivery teams.
  • Based on indepth knowledge of industry and client issues, helps team members identify new revenue opportunities at existing and potential clients.

  • Mentors, coaches, guides, and grows leaders, team members, and other colleagues, creating strong collaborative and engaging organizational culture.

  • Values diversity and ensures all appropriate team member views have been raised and incorporated into team decisions as appropriate.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 15+ years of related experience, advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 15+ years' experience in a combination of life science and consulting/services industry required.
  • Experience in pharma product development, analytics, and strategy highly preferred.
  • Strategic business and industry awareness and the ability to translate emerging industry trends relevant to the organization.
  • Prior experience in a senior management role; preferably leading sales or consulting teams.
  • Proven success as a datacentric, innovative, businessminded, highly strategic data and analytics executive with experience in sales and consulting.
  • Experience developing new business models, introducing innovations, and leading change. Track record of influencing and leading successful crossfunctional transformation efforts with colleagues at all levels of the organization, including senior and executive leadership.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into compelling, logical, and relevant narratives for executives, peers, customers, and partners.
  • Ability to quickly gain credibility with senior management and effectively influence and collaborate with others.
  • A track record of success in attracting, developing, and motivating top talent from inside and outside of the organization, mentoring, coaching and growing others.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Experience of serving small and Emerging Biopharma clients highly preferred
  • Consultative mindset with enthusiasm for delivering firstinclass solutions to clients; demonstrated strategic thinking, planning and change management skills.
