- Prepare and analyze laboratory specimens
- Handle specimen unpacking, routing, labeling, packing, and shipping
- Meet departmental goals and ensure proper specimen storage
- Accurately enter patient information and address any specimen-related issues
- Work the 3rd shift, likely scheduled seven days a week until project completion
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of specimen processing experience or aseptic technique knowledge
- Comfortability working with biological specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational abilities
- Attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to pass a color-blind test
