    Job Description

    Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Products for Consumer to lead and drive the development and growth of ADT's consumer products and services. Reporting to the SVP and Chief Product Officer, this role will be responsible for building and managing a world-class product management team, shaping the consumer product strategy, and executing initiatives that accelerate growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and articulate the strategic vision for ADT's consumer product portfolio.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align product strategy with the overall company objectives.
    • Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to inform product roadmap decisions.
    Product Management Team Building:
    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the team.
    • Establish clear goals and KPIs for the product management organization.
    Product Portfolio Management:
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of consumer products and services, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
    • Prioritize product initiatives based on customer needs, market dynamics, and business goals.
    • Ensure a balanced portfolio that addresses security, automation, and connected services.
    Market and Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging consumer needs and competitive threats.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and technology advancements relevant to our product offerings.
    • Use market insights to inform product development and innovation strategies.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment and communication to achieve product-related goals.
    Financial Accountability:
    • Develop and manage budgets for the consumer product management organization.
    • Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions as needed to ensure growth and profitability.
    Customer Experience and Satisfaction:
    • Champion customer-centricity in product development and enhancements.
    • Monitor customer feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve product quality and user satisfaction.
    Business Growth:
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand ADT's consumer product and service offerings.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth and market share.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    • Proven track record of building and leading successful product management teams.
    • Extensive experience in consumer product management, preferably in the security or
    home automation industry.
    • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving growth and profitability.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
