    We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader ready to assume a critical role in building our business.

    A Director of Operations who has strong leadership skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to personal and business success.

    The ideal candidate will have residential and commercial roofing knowledge and experience (from team leadership to procurement); the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and outstanding problem-solving skills.

    Other qualities for the Director of Operations include:

    High level of knowledge of roofing application and construction

    Critical thinking/problem solving/outside the box solutions as needed

    Anticipant problems and work to solve them before they turn critical

    Applies creative problem-solving to address business needs and issues

    Must be extraordinarily detail-oriented and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing office and business environment.

    Able to understand their contribution to the success of the business

    Business acumen

    Understand and act on driving the business to success through knowledge of business operations, accounting and business practices

    Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to expand the company's market presence

    Monitor and manage budgets, financial reports, and other data as required

    Able to manage projects involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality

    Ability to plan and prioritize while focusing on detail orientation and effective time management

    When speaking and writing, uses appropriate grammar, organizes ideas clearly, and articulates ideas concisely

    Position Overview

    The Director of Operations is responsible for managing on-site construction, including scheduling staff and subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications and resolving construction problems


    Specific Responsibilities:
    Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow, including managing field crews, equipment, and resources

    Project management

    Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met

    Procurement

    Oversee inventory control and procurement to optimize resources and minimize waste

    Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

    Monitor pricing of volatile commodities to ensure work product is priced appropriately

    Create accurate, real-time, detailed job cost analysis reporting

    Staffing/Management

    Lead, mentor, and motivate your team to perform at the highest level of excellence

    Ability to manage individuals and groups

    Optimize performance of people, including determination of capabilities, integration into teams, allocation of tasks, direction, support, guidance, motivation, and management of performance

    Provides effective feedback, throughout the performance management cycle, to ensure optimum performance

    Participates, as appropriate, in formal processes such as compensation negotiations and disciplinary procedures Inspect jobs in process and at completion

    Obtain all permits and approvals as required

    Maintain a safe and healthy jobsite

    Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed, providing a safe working environment for all team members

    Schedule and complete required inspections

    Maintain a strong commitment to customer satisfaction by ensuring high-quality service delivery and addressing customer concerns promptly

    Collaborate with sales team and other staff as needed

    All other duties as assigned


    Job Type:
    Full-time


    Pay:
    $100, $150,000.00 per year


    Ability to Commute:
    Denver, CO (Preferred)

    Willingness to travel:

    25% (Preferred)
