- Assist in the collection of school assessment data for analysis and prepare presentation
- reports and graphs based on data queried from various district databases
- Provide support and direction to school and district support staff and administrators on student information, statistics and queries
- Monitor, review and report data integrity problems and track to ensure data are corrected
- Develop instructional guides and instructions for school staff to use in support of their job functions
- Familiarity with ADE and Charter Board requirements for compliance and knowledge to ensure that data collection and summarization needs are met
- Assist in gathering of data for the preparation of district visual presentation
- Assist in preparation, administration and summarization of district survey instruments
- Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience; Research and accountability experience in educational settings preferred
- Moderate proficiency in typing, with good accuracy; high math aptitude
- Computer proficiency to include use of basic software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Proficient use of statistical software, specifically SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Sciences)
- Experience and proficiency in working with large interactive databases, PowerSchool preferred
- Experience with online test programs such as/similar to DIBELS, SchoolNet, Galileo
- Knowledge and experience in statistical applications; experience and skill in data collection, analysis and interpretation
- Ability to perform tabulating, formatting and basic level mathematical and statistical functions for data evaluation
- Ability to write narrative and technical reports
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to grasp new concepts
- Ability to organize, to prioritize and to meet deadlines with an accurate attention to detail while working with minimum supervision
- Ability to be flexible and deal with changing deadlines and projects
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with teachers, administrators, employees and outside agencies

Job DescriptionSequoia Deaf School is looking for an individual who has experience in the Deaf Community, is fluent in Sign Language and has some experience in the school setting. This individual will be in charge of benchmark testing, Azella Testing and assisting with classroom formative and summative assessments when needed. Lastly, it is the expectation that this individual be able to read students results data, present it to the staff and be able to sit down with teachers to help create an action plan to help the student increase academically.
