Summary of Functions


As an Account Specialist at Air Comm, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team to achieve their targets and provide seamless customer experiences.

You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks related to sales operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the sales process.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle the processing of sales orders, including verifying order information, pricing, and availability of products.
  • Provide outstanding customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate sales activities, including scheduling appointments, arranging product demonstrations, and preparing sales presentations.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the inventory team to ensure availability of products for timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and documentation, including customer information, sales contracts, and order histories.
  • Generate sales reports and analysis to track sales performance, identify trends, and support decisionmaking processes.
  • Facilitate communication between sales team members, customers, and other departments within the organization to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
  • Utilize the CRM system to manage customer interactions, track leads, and update sales data.
  • Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing salesrelated documents.
  • Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.

Experience/Education

  • Two plus years of experience in sales administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Company will provide additional training, as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of twoway radio systems or related technology (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational, problemsolving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills, and creativity applied to resolution of issues.
  • Highly proactive and responsive to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and advise project leadership on complex issues.
  • Good problemsolving skills/decisionmaking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, management, and other coworkers, both individually and in front of a group is important.

  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Good reasoning ability and decisionmaking is important.
  • Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.

Work Environment
The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
