    Expected annual base salary range: $46,100 to $64,500

    GPS level: P1

    JOB SUMMARY: The goal of the Business Operations Specialist is to provide data and analytical support to the executive, operational, and department needs. This role will have primary responsibility for data reporting and analysis and support meetings and events across the team. Within the scope of this position, contribute to the company's overall mission to protect the rights and welfare of human subjects involved in clinical research.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

    • Analyze, compile, and report workload data, including the creation of graphics for assessments and decision-making purposes.
    • Analyze project deliverables data and produce Key Performance Indicators reports. This will include data gathering, identifying trends and ensuring accuracy to meet client deliverables.
    • Enter contracts data into departmental databases and timesheet systems, with a focus on data tracking and analysis.
    • Calculate and merge monthly metrics for utilization purposes derived from timesheet data.
    • Coordinate and execute gatherings, travel arrangements, and other logistical tasks.
    • Collaborate with sales, finance, and IT departments to coordinate departmental tracking and address issues.
    • Oversee the maintenance of department project deliverables archive and updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
    • Create and disseminate communications within the department, including maintaining the SharePoint homepage.
    • Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding processes, including the addition of new hires to internal systems.
    • Extracts data from project, contract, hours, and change order information within our timesheet systems and internal project database.
    • Perform data analysis, identifying trends and presenting findings to leadership.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
    • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required.

    QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

    • Must have at least one year of demonstrated data reporting experience supporting projects and programs.
    • Confident multi-tasker with excellent communication skills.
    • Software savvy-excellent Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel skills is a must. Familiarity with , Replicon, zenQMS, and Concur is preferred.
    • Experience managing databases and performing simple data calculations.
    • Desire to be proactive, propose solutions, and create a positive experience for others.
    • Attention to detail, flexible and reliable.
    • Ability to operate independently.

Work activities involve a frequent need to concentrate on a variety of sensory inputs for moderate to lengthy durations at a time requiring diligence and attention to interpret effectively. There will be a need to attend to single or simultaneous tasks where accuracy of details is important. The need for detailed and precise work is high.
