    THE COMPANYOctane Learning is a professional learning and training development agency, working exclusively for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and healthcare companies.

    We advise on learning strategies and create the right experiences, including online study, virtual, in-person and hybrid workshops, reference resources, sales/corporate training events, and more.

    The qualified candidate must possess proven skills in executing eLearning, print-based, and digital media projects.

    As we are rapidly expanding and have an opportunity for an Account Manager to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey.

    THE LOCATIONThis position works out of our Princeton, NJ offices.

    THE WORKManage Client RelationshipsBuilds and manages relationships with key client stakeholdersIdentifies new sales opportunities within existing accounts to organically expand the businessParticipates in any client business reviews as requiredNew Business OpportunitiesCollaborates with Business Development and other presale resources in developing solutions for specific client opportunities Assists Business Development in identifying new client opportunitiesParticipates in Business Development and marketing campaigns as neededCreation of materials associated with sales opportunities, such as capabilities presentations, RFIs, RFPs, and proposalsProject ServicesDemonstrates significant understanding of the scope of all assigned projects, proactively and efficiently managing details throughout projectRuns concurrent projects effectivelyIs the Primary point of contact on projects, including leading and participating in all internal and external status calls / meetings Collaborates with Project Management/Client Solutions in the planning and implementation of projects, project plans, job opening/start up meetings, scheduling resources, tracking and overall qualityFacilitates the definition of the scope, goals and deliverables; manages timelines in partnership with Project Management/Client SolutionsDefines tasks and resource requirements, collaborating with Project Management/Client Solutions to assemble and coordinate appropriate staff and manage resource workflowCollaborates with Project Management/Client Solutions on budget, schedule, project resource allocation and tracks deliverables Constantly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders, including fiscal responsibilityProvides ongoing updates and recommendations including status updates, changes in scope and project-specific strategyMonitors workflow and helps manage any issues that could delay or prevent the completion of the projectTHE CANDIDATEThe following qualifications are key to the success of the candidate: Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of project and client experienceStrategic thinkerClient consulting skillsEffective and persuasive written and verbal communication Listening and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong conflict resolution skillsStrategic approach to requestsAbility to collaborate effectively with project stakeholdersProfessional, presentable, and personable demeanorDisplays patience and cultural sensitivity in communications with internal and external resourcesKnowledge of project management techniques and toolsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsPlanning and organizingCommunication, negotiation and conflict management skillsTHE FITWe are more interested in finding the right talent and attitude than the exact match to a list of skills and qualifications.
