- Create sales reports and present to the team that outline sales efforts including progress and sales volume to better determine future goals
- Mentor your team, evaluate their sales performance, and help them improve
- Manage our sales team by creating a sales plan for each sales representative, setting individual sales targets, assigning sales territories, and overseeing ongoing training programs to set the team up for success
- Maintain long-lasting customer relationships and manage customer complaints to ensure we are meeting their needs
- Determine our sales strategies and sales objectives to hit our sales goals
- As a candidate for the Fast Track Management Program, you'll join New York Life as a financial professional to gain hands-on experience. Once you have met the program requirements, which typically take between 6-12 months, you'll be eligible for promotion to Associate Partner.
- In this management role, you'll begin recruiting and developing your own team of financial professionals. You'll also be enrolled in the Associate Partner Training Program, a six-month intensive training designed to help ensure that you succeed when promoted to Partner.
- You'll build and lead your own team with the support of a Fortune 100 company. Our development managers and product consultants will support you in reaching your financial professionals with everything they'll need to know. And NYLIC University, one of the most comprehensive and well-respected training programs in the industry, offers a blended learning curriculum designed to meet financial professionals' needs throughout the various stages of their careers.
- Proven track record of sales success
- Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
- Must possess a bachelor's degree in business or a similar major
- At least 3 years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department
- You may qualify for the program if you have completed your MBA, have management experience, over 3 years of sales experience, or have owned a business.
