    Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or a technical discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

    CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

    This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by manager. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    As a Technical Project Manager, you'll oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, the project team, and line management. This involves reviewing project status and budgets as well as managing schedules, preparing status reports, assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.

    Program labor category requires a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years experience.

    What you bring to the table:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or a technical discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
    • Leads development of strategic tasks or small projects by applying system engineering and organizational knowledge and expertise to achieve technical goals
    • Lead a project team to delivery from conception to production deployment
    • Capability roadmap formation and stakeholder engagement
    • Provides vendor product feedback to align with customer objectives (including GDMS MLS Products)
    • Oversees and manages ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management, stakeholders, and project team
    • Reviews status of projects, manages schedules, and prepares status reports
    • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet program goals and objectives
    • Understands and interprets the technical, organizational and process aspects of the task assigned and can relate them to the technical needs of the overall large project or organization
    • Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering tasks or small projects
    • Actively uncovers technical and organizational risks and ensures they are included in risk mitigation plans
    • Participates in development of program strategies and teaming strategies as they relate to the assigned task
    • Participates in continuous process improvement efforts
    • Deals regularly with support functions outside project
    • Provides resolution to a diverse range of complex problems which require the use of ingenuity and creativity
    • Ability to provide technical input to project or engineering management in linking task-related strategy to achieve business goals
    • Ability to uncover technical and organizational risks and ensure they are included in risk mitigation plans
