    About the job Sales Manager
    • After Market Spare Parts Our client, located in Novi, MI, is recognized as the leading provider of high quality automated industrial filtration in the United States.

Over the next 3 -5 years our mission is to achieve aggressive growth, doubling our current sales numbers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of increased sales in a technical industry.

    We are looking for someone who can prioritize the many different aspects of the job from traveling for customer visits, to forecasting sales, to resolving order complications and working closely together with the Fulfillment Team, Service team and our regional offices.

    A successful candidate will need the ability to see the big picture of the company, as well as know how each department functions and coordinates with one another.

    We are seeking a candidate who can take our After Market business to the next level and ensure we achieve the company's aggressive sales goals.

    Proactive and self-motivated and a team playerPositive, compassionate and dependableExcellent with written and verbal communicationProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience with mechanical components and/or systems.

    Ability to understand engineering and technical drawingsExperienced in contract negotiationBusiness acumenRequirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Business or related field of studyInternational business experience5+ years of Sales experiencePossesses a passport, driver's license and dependable transportation

    Must Have:
    Bachelors degree in Business or related field of studyInternational business experience5+ years of Sales experienceExperience with mechanical components/systemsExperience with Contract NegotiationSelf-motivated and outgoingPossesses a passport, drivers license and dependable transportationInternational travel up to 30%Responsibilities, including but not limited to:Play an active role in the company's efforts to expand their existing presence in the after sales market in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean IslandsKey account management and new business acquisition and growthDevelop strategies to increase the sales in our After Market activitiesSet annual, quarterly and monthly forecastsMaintain top 25 customersTrack large capital projectsNegotiate pricing structuresDrive sales growth in our After Market businessDevelop client relationships with key decision makers through early engagement and consulting via personal visits, phone and emailPut together presentations on product solutionsActively generate new RFQs, issuing quotations, and conducting quote follow-up with customersParticipate in trade shows and related conferencesIdentify new leads through industry research, LinkedIn, and other methodsFrequently travel and visit customers, on average 30% of working timeManage, plan and book all travel at your discretionManage budget as it pertains to travel costsMaintain and develop knowledge of markets, applications, solutions and associated filter productsMaintain a summary of customers equipment and required aftermarket needsAnswer technical questions from customersUtilize CRM to record interaction with customers
