Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled summer student intern who will join our Enterprise Architecture practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the creation and maintenance of re-usable architecture patterns based on industry best practices for software engineering, system and process design. They will also collaborate with subject matter experts in the fields of organizational change management and process improvement.

Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a vital discipline that enables organizations to manage the complex interrelationships and interactions between business processes, data, application, and technology infrastructure. It is a key driver of business-IT alignment, enabling organizations to increase agility and responsiveness to changing market conditions, improve operational efficiency, and support innovation and growth. In this role, you will gain valuable exposure to the inner workings of Enterprise Architecture, including the opportunity to work with experienced professionals who will provide mentorship and guidance throughout your internship. You will also develop your communication and teamwork skills, working closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines, and presenting your findings and ideas to team members and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Familiarize themselves with modeling technologies and techniques such as UML, BPMN, and the TOGAF framework
Work on creating re-usable architecture patterns based on industry best practices for software engineering including system and process design.
Identify opportunities for clarifying requirements based on documented policies and procedures.
Utilize critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
Work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
Use excellent communication skills to present ideas and findings via reports and models.

Education and Experience Requirements

Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution and have completed at least one semester of schooling by the start of the program. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
Must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
If accepting an offer, must pass a screening drug test.
Strong interest in enterprise architecture, software engineering, systems analysis, system and process design or similar disciplines.
Strong analytical skills and a desire to learn
