- You will care for and overview security monitoring platforms, analyze, security alerts, and respond promptly to potential threats indicators.
- Collects data on various security metrics and builds comprehensive dashboards that provide insights into the effectiveness of our security measures and proposes areas for improvement.
- Provides Incident Response support when an actionable incident is identified.
- Documents, investigates, and reports on information security issues and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity/Cloud architect on remediation strategies and timelines for vulnerabilities.
- Conducts log analysis
- System reimaging of Windows and Linux platforms.
- Conducts malware/threat removal and analysis.
- Provides user support for analysis of quarantined messages, data, and disposition of phishing messages.
- Threat feed monitoring and updating.
- The successful candidate will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in information security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrates a keen interest in information security and a desire to master security operations, threat intelligence, and compliance.
- Brings a working knowledge of security principles, tools, and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and networks effectively with cybersecurity stakeholders.
- Handles sensitive information and data ethically and with discretion.
- Competency in one or more programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
- Familiarity of vulnerability scanning tools and/or penetration testing techniques
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services
