    Job Summary:


    Under general guidance, the Middleware Administrator is responsible for designing and configuring the company's middleware and integration infrastructure and platforms, enabling communication between multiple enterprise applications.

    They are accountable for design, development, configuration, problem analysis, deployment, and continuous operational enhancement of middleware technologies.

    Essential Functions:
    Collaborate with Developers and Architects to devise middleware configurations based on requirements.
    Employ Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools to automate middleware and integration product implementations and configurations.
    Lead and coordinate operational activities and incident management with offshore consultants.
    Evaluate current processes, devise improvement steps, and automate where feasible.
    Monitor and optimize performance and usage of middleware environment.
    Devise strategies and documentation for migration, consolidation, and upgrade of middleware and integration components.
    Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to enhance application performance and functionality.
    Administer, maintain, install, and operate middleware components.
    Conduct daily operational tasks and system reviews to ensure the smooth execution of scheduled tasks and prompt issue resolution.

    Serve as a representative for Infrastructure and IT Middleware department regarding infrastructure requirements and impacts for application development projects and business initiatives.

    Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.


    Qualifications:
    Previous experience in MuleSoft applications administration, including AnyPoint Platform and AnyPoint Studio, preferred.
    Previous experience in Confluent Cloud applications administration, including Kafka, ksqlDB, and Kafka connectors, preferred.
    Previous experience in Azure Service Bus and MQSeries applications administration preferred.

    Proficiency in event-based integrations, connectors, and tools such as Amazon S3, Amazon MQ, HTTP REST APIs, OIDC/OAuth (Okta), Java libraries, relational databases, and file shares, preferred.

    Knowledge of building automation for cloud environments and associated tools desired (Terraform, PowerShell).
    Previous experience with Azure Service Bus, Amazon MQ, Managed File Transfer platforms, and OIDC/OAuth service provider/identity provider configurations preferred.
    Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/PCF etc.) preferred.
    Understanding of Linux operating environments, Linux command line utility, and automation scripting.
    Familiarity with infrastructure as code and application development methodologies such as Agile.
