- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and costsaving opportunities
- Manage the company's cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operations
- Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual operating budgets and monitor budget variances
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to support decisionmaking processes
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred
- Prior experience within the construction industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in financial software applications (e.g., ERP systems)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
