    Description


    Are you looking for a full-time temporary HR position that has the potential to become permanent? Don't miss this unique opportunity to work with a fun and collaborative team with an amazing organization – the MAC We own and operate the Minneapolis-St.

    Paul International Airport and provide HR support to over 750 employees.

    We get to work with a wide range of employees from painters, plumbers, carpenters, and electricians, to police officers and firefighters, to engineers, architects as well as traditional business functions like purchasing, finance, IT, and real estate.


    This position will support the HR Business Partners with all facets of the hiring process to include recruitment, scheduling interviews, assessments, pre-employment background checks, new hire administration and other duties as assigned.

    The successful candidate will have a positive, professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills and be driven to support his/her teammates. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to grow into an HR career. This is a full-time, 40-hour work week commitment (Monday through Friday) for a minimum of six-months.

    Recruiting and Hiring Support
    Assist with posting open positions
    Serve as a resource for researching effective advertising opportunities
    Screen employment applications as directed
    Schedule and conduct interviews and assessments
    Check references
    Coordinate pre-employment screenings and verifications
    Schedule badging appointments, physical and psychological assessments
    Track pre-employment screenings and recommend for hire
    Complete new hire data entryinto HRIS
    Schedule and coordinate new employee orientation
    Communicate with the hiring managers and HRBP through all phases of the selection process
    HR Administration
    Process data entry
    Prepare and distribute reports
    Maintain confidentiality of all HR matters
    Complete other projects as assigned

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Applicants must have one of the following:
    Associate's degree or higher, with an emphasis in Human Resources, Business or a related field
    Pursuing a

    bachelor's degree in H uman Resources, industrial psychology, organizational development, or a related program graduating in 2024 or 2025.

    Two years of experience in Human Resources supporting team members with recruiting, hiring, background checks, data entry, employee correspondence etc.

    Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    Excellent organizational skills
    Experience managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a sense of urgency
    Ability to take initiative, work as a team player, and take ownership of assignments
    Effective communication, writing and grammar skills, paying great attention to detail
    Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow-through to completion
    Exceptional customer service skills

    DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
    Recruiting and hiring experience
    HRIS database experience
    Experience using NEOGOV applicant tracking system
    PHR or SPHR Certification
