    $1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE

    Job Summary
    Responsible for maintaining a healthy, safe, and therapeutic environment for individuals served. Administer medication following State guidelines.

    Essential Job Functions
    • Ensure the health and welfare of the individuals served.
    • Assist with medication and treatment plans.
    • Train individuals in care tasks.
    • Assist with daily living activities.
    • Participate in treatment and support plans development.
    • Accompany to appointments and activities.
    • Complete required documentation.
    • Implement behavioral programs.
    • Assist with personal goals.
    • Identify behavior triggers.
    • Report incidents and abuse.
    • Provide work activity instruction.

    Qualifications/Experience/Job Knowledge
    • Effectively communicate in English.
    • Valid drivers license.
    • Comply with state agency requirements.
    • Pass drug screen and background check.
    • Learn basic computer skills.
    • Medication administration certification.
    • Prior experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

    Physical Requirements
    • Coordinate work.
    • Position objects up to 50 pounds.
    • Physically assist individuals.
    • Be alert to consumers' needs.
    • Occasionally exposed to viruses.
    Reasonable accommodations for disabilities or medical conditions.
